The wider the board, the more stable, the longer the faster!

-Surf paddle board Surf: low stability, low slip force, highest steering force
-All Around paddle board:
Highest stability, medium slip force, high steering force
-Touring: high stability, high glide, high steering.
-Touring/Race Paddle board Race Touring:
Medium stability, very high slip force, medium steering force
-Race Paddle board Race: poor stability, highest slip, low steering force

Also choose the length of the board according to your weight .
